Participants will be sent a list of basic hair and make-up resources that will be required in advance.

Q&A with ENB Company Dancers

BE INSPIRED: hear from English National Ballet Company dancers as they discuss and share what it takes to be a professional ballet dancer performing in one of the most famous of classical ballets, Swan Lake.

Before joining, we recommend participants visit ENB’s Ballet on Demand to rent our production of Swan Lake to inspire your questions.

ENB have two productions of Swan Lake available;

Derek Deane’s Swan Lake (Duration: 126 minutes)

My First Ballet: Swan Lake (Duration: 60 minutes)

TAKE PART: in a creative dance workshop inspired by the characters and themes of Swan Lake.

Working alongside other young dancers and a live musician, participants will learn and develop the fundamentals of ballet technique before exploring the repertoire through creative tasks. Recommended for those with some dance experience, but not essential.

Music with ENB’s Philharmonic

EXPERIENCE: hear from English National Ballet’s Music Director, Gavin Sutherland, and members of the ENB Philharmonic to delve into Tchaikovsky’s magical score behind the classical ballet, Swan Lake.
