The chance to discover our Dance for Health programme for older people, an artistic dance activity that improves physical, mental health and well-being, at their new state of the art studios on London City Island. The workshops will be based around the repertoire of Akram Khan’s Giselle, a classic story of love, betrayal and forgiveness.
Please note: booking is now closed for this event.
This workshop is part of Silver Sunday, a national celebration of older people and their contribution to communities, which takes place annually on the first Sunday in October. Through a variety of free activities Silver Sunday offers people over 55 a chance to keep active in body and spirit, try new things, meet their neighbours and, ultimately, overcome loneliness.
