Celebrating Creativity and Wellbeing Week 2025 we’re shining a light on Re-Play, our annual Engagement performance platform, which brings together hundreds of participants for a very special showcase.

What is Re-Play?

Re-Play is a weekend of performances dedicated to showcasing the breadth and depth of our Engagement programmes.

This year, Re-play took place in March. Over five months of planning went into the event – from commissioning the creative team, to rehearsals, performances, right through to the final bows of the show. The weekend saw dancers from across London including Newham and Tower Hamlets and as far as Ipswich, West Sussex, Dorset and Bristol, come together for this celebration of ENB’s 75th season.

The dancers were supported by 22 creatives including choreographers, rehearsal directors, costume designers, composers and musicians, to come together and perform for over 400 people across two days.

What the dancers had to say:

Watching the other wonderful dancers and being part of this “family”.
I loved seeing how the production studio operates as well as meeting other groups at ENB.
I enjoyed the opportunity to create my own choreography and be part of the panel to share my experiences!

Wow – what a sensational performance that was last night it really made me feel very emotional on many levels – but most importantly to see and learn what English National Ballet is doing for children, youth, the elderly, and its local community and at the same time as  being a sensational touring ballet company  – this should be shouted from the roof tops.
The integration of rap with ballet.

Seeing young dancers with such a good level, and the opportunity to watch senior dancers with the freedom to express who they are, without the fear of their possibilities and capabilities. It was absolutely beautiful.
My highlight was seeing how dance can be a life skill.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but this was simply outstanding. My daughter has been attending Ballet Club and she has loved every minute – incredible teachers / coaches / mentors – incredible organization – phenomenal culture in that the standard is very high, but there is so much support to reach new heights.
