Chris Marks

Chris Marks is one of the two founders of eBit labs, a technology company working with digital assets and decentralised finance. Prior to creating eBit labs, Chris spent most of his career in banking. His last role was as the CEO of NatWest Markets PLC, NatWest Group’s investment banking business. 

Chris is the Chair of what3words, a global location technology company.  He also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of MUFG Securities EMEA plc, where he chairs the Joint Remuneration Committee for MUFG Securities EMEA and MUFG Bank’s London Branch.

A lifelong ballet fan, Chris was previously a member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee before joining the Board of Trustees. He now Chairs the Finance and General Purposes Committee.

Chris studied Civil Engineering at Bristol University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
