Read on for Principal casting for our autumn/winter performances.

This autumn, we open our season with R:Evolution, a programme of four works by visionary dance creators, before taking Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s exquisite The Sleeping Beauty on tour. Our popular season at the London Coliseum features Nutcracker and the first ever performances of Akram Khan’s Giselle at the iconic venue, to mark the acclaimed production’s tenth anniversary.

R:Evolution

Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London

The programme brings together works from George Balanchine, Martha Graham, William Forsythe and David Dawson.

Balanchine’s Theme and Variations features guest performances from Alice Mariani, Prima Ballerina with Teatro alla Scala, and Ricardo Castellanos, Principal with Norwegian National Ballet. First Soloist Haruhi Otani and Soloists Miguel Angel Maidana and Paulo Rodrigues will also make their debuts.

Martha Graham’s visceral duet Errand into the Maze will star First Soloists Emily Suzuki, Erik Woolhouse and Rentaro Nakaaki, Soloists Alice Bellini, Minju Kang and Henry Dowden, First Artist Jose María Lorca Menchón and Artist of the Company Anna Ciriano.

Herman Schmerman (Quintet) by William Forsythe returns  with Soloist Rodrigo Pinto, First Artist Eireen Evrard, and Artists of the Company Anna Ciriano and Martinho Santos all performing roles in the piece for the first time.
