Beginners Ballet
Overview
This beginner-level ballet class is aimed for those who have a little bit of ballet experience or have taken ballet before, and who want to revisit beginner-level steps and refamiliarise themselves with the structure of a ballet class.
This class will allow dancers to build on their foundation of ballet technique and take their training one step further, before moving up to a more challenging level such as Improvers.
Tuesdays
18:45 class is taught by Nina Thilas-Mohs with music from pianist Sven Blazyca
20:00 class is taught by Vanessa Abreu with music from pianist Reina Okada
Wednesdays class is taught by Richard Bermange with music from pianist Reina Okada

FAQs
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. Class will be taken in barefoot or in soft ballet shoes – no soft blocks, socks or pointe shoes are permitted. We recommend that those with long hair secure it away from your face.
No jewellery should be worn in any class: please remove it before entering the studio.
No street shoes are to be worn in the studio either.
Introduction to Ballet is a standalone course for first time in studio that covers the very basics to give you confidence in a ballet class.
Beginners ballet is for dancers who have a little bit of ballet experience or have taken ballet before, but who are at a beginner level and are still working on the foundation steps and still need a slower pace and detailed explanation.
Our classes at the Mulryan Centre for Dance are open to anyone aged over 18 and there is no upper age limit.

Refunds and exchanges are not permitted except where events or classes are cancelled or abandoned by English National Ballet when less than half the event or session has taken place.*
We regret we do not offer class swaps or credit for missed classes. This applied to both drop-in and termly enrolled bookers.
*In exceptional circumstances due to medical reasons, please apply in writing with a medical certificate for discretionary consideration of a refund.
