Ballet Club 2026-27
Overview
Ballet Club gives young people access to professional artists, opportunities to develop their dance skills and the confidence to have an artistic voice in the work they co-create.
Calling all aspiring dancers aged 9 – 12 years, who live in Newham or Tower Hamlets and love to dance!
Join us this May half term for Ballet Club, dancing and creating new moves with professional artists at English National Ballet’s state of the art studios in Canning Town.
Take part in daily ballet class, put your creative skills to the test with choreographic workshops and explore the timeless fairy tale My First Ballet: Cinderella.
Fee
£30
This programme is available for Newham or Tower Hamlets residents.
There are limited number of places available FREE OF CHARGE for children in receipt of pupil premium or families in receipt of universal credit. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis. Please email engagement@ballet.org.uk if you would like to enquire about a free place.
Daily Schedule
Ballet Club takes place daily across the week, 9:30am – 3:30pm (Please note there will be no Ballet Club on Monday 25 May due to the Bank Holiday).
On the final day Friday 29 May, there will be a studio sharing from 2.30pm.

Who can book
Ballet Club is a programme open to children living in Newham or Tower Hamlets aged 9 – 12 years. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Dancers are encouraged to commit all the sessions to gain the most benefits.

No prior dance experience is necessary.
What to wear
*Please wear clothing you can move in: something stretchy is ideal and not too loose, so that you don’t get tangled up. Participants should wear soft dance slippers or dance in bare feet for class (no socks for safety reasons). All jewellery should be removed before class and we recommend that long hair is secured away from the face.
