Open up ballet for everyone, everywhere

Pass on your love of ballet to the next generation

At English National Ballet, we believe in opening doors, curtains and minds, and creating moving, meaningful experiences for everyone. Our mission is to break down barriers and make sure anyone, anywhere can experience the magic of ballet.

With your support, we aim to raise £50,000 so that over 4,000 young people have the opportunity to engage with this art form that we love in our 2026/27 Season.

What a teacher told us...

We feel so lucky to be able to bring our pupils and have them experience live music and dance, attending the theatre in the wider community and be immersed in the cultural experience of ballet.

It meant so much to the pupils and our staff to know that the children could be free to move and enjoy the performance as themselves due to the relaxed performance.

Throughout our 2026/27 season, we’ll be taking performances, workshops and the joy of dance all around the UK.

With your support, we will:

Connect communities across the country to English National Ballet

We will introduce young people to our productions through immersive onstage workshops, where children and their families will explore our repertoire with ENB Associate Dance Artists, accompanied by live music.

Foster a love of ballet from an early age

We will run a series of school projects where pupils dive deeper and create dance pieces in response to our main stage ballets, which they’ll then perform on a professional stage for friends and family.

Welcome young audiences through accessible performances

We will make our performances easy to access and enjoyable for as many people as possible. We’ll be welcoming D/deaf and hard of hearing audiences to connect with ballet through British Sign Language interpretation. And our relaxed performances embrace noise and movement and provide chill-out spaces so that neurodivergent and learning-disabled audience members can also discover the magic of ballet.

Kit had such a wonderful week and is still fizzing with joy at it all. The Sharing was so impressive, I can't believe what you achieved with the children in a week. I know Kit is really inspired by the Giselle choreography, and it will stay with him.
