Minju Kang

Birthplace: Seoul, South Korea
Training: Started dancing with her mother, a ballet dancer who opened her own academy. Then trained at Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts, Yewon School, and Seoul Arts High School until the age of 17 when she moved to Germany to train at the Hamburg Ballet School.
Previous Company: Bundesjugendballett; Northern Ballet
English National Ballet: Joined in 2022, promoted to First Artist in 2023, Soloist 2024.

Includes Carmen in Inger’s Carmen; Zulma in Skeaping’s Giselle; Ice Queen in Watkin and Smith’s Nutcracker; Khan’s Giselle and Creature; Quagebeur’s Take Five Blues.
