Overview
ENBYouthCo-nnect is an annual programme between September – July offering young dancers, aged 13 – 16 years, experience of ballet and contemporary technique, introducing skills and opportunities for creation and performance.
We celebrate and champion diversity, welcoming dancers from all backgrounds, dance styles, and levels of experience.

To join our youth dance collective’s new annual cohort starting in September, please register your interest and answer a few short questions.
Once you’ve registered we will be in touch to confirm your place for the year and with the link to book on.
Key dates:
- Tue 8 Jul, 5pm: Registration opens
- Mon 17 Aug, 10am: Registration closes
- Thu 20 Aug: Link to book sent to all registered dancers who live in our home boroughs of Newham or Tower Hamlets
- Mon 24 Aug: Link to book sent to all remaining registered dancers
FAQs & Programme Guidelines
The annual programme takes place at our home, Mulryan Centre for Dance, on Fridays at 6:15 – 7:45pm.
Dancers will work with the Creative Director and collaborate with professional Dance Artists, Choreographers, and Dancers of ENBYouthCo, to broaden their knowledge of dance technique and choreographic skills by taking part in supplementary classes and creative sessions across the year.
Autumn Term 2026 – Term 1
Weekly Sessions: Friday 25 September – Friday 4 December (10 weeks)
[No session Friday 30 October]
Winter/Spring Term 2027 – Term 2
Weekly Sessions: Friday 8 Jan – Friday 19 March (10 weeks)
[No session Friday 19 February]
Sunday Intensives: 24 January and 28 February
Summer Term 2027 – Term 3
Weekly Sessions: Friday 16 April – Friday 2 July (10 weeks)
[No session Friday 4 June]
These dates are subject to change and not all inclusive and therefore additional days and times may be required; set term dates are finalised 4 weeks before the term commences.
The Annual Membership Fee is £225.
ENBYouthCo-nnect is a 1-year programme and the fee covers all activity listed above under core dates September 2026 – July 2027.
Instalment options are available to all dancers, which is broken down into:
1. £75 upon registration
2. £75 on or by 5 December 2026
3. £75 on or by 20 March 2027

We don’t want cost to be a barrier for this programme and have a limited pot for funding bursary places.
Bursaries are means-tested.
Subject to availability and offer of full place bursaries, up to 25% of fees may be available to support those who live outside of Zone 6 (London).
All bursary applications will be assessed using the framework below, bursary application information will be sent to all registered dancers and allocated first to those who live in our home boroughs of Newham or Tower Hamlets and existing ENBYouthCo-nnect dancers, followed by any remaining registered dancers who have requested a bursary.
Do I qualify to apply for up to 100% of the Annual Membership Fees?
This is available for those households whose total income is less than £31,170 in the tax year ending 5 April 2027, and/or for young dancers who are Pupil Premium or Pupil Premium Plus.
Do I qualify to apply for up to 25% of the Membership Fees to support travel?
If you live outside of Zone 6 you will be able to apply for up to 25% of your Annual Membership fee to be reduced.
How do I apply?
You will be asked on the registration form whether your place is dependent on a bursary.
Anyone ticking ‘Yes’ will be sent a bursary application. You will be asked for a statement of proof and a supporting statement which will determine the percentage of funding.
