The Company were honoured to perform at this special event marking the Company’s 75th anniversary and looking ahead to the future.

This week, our Royal Patron Queen Camilla met guests including Lead Principal Sangeun Lee, members of English National Ballet Philharmonic, representatives from our Dance for Parkinson’s and ENBYouthCo programmes, and Company supporters Dame Arlene Phillips DBE and Angela Rippon CBE.

The event celebrated the Company’s work and community and included a poignant performance of Fokine’s The Dying Swan, danced by Sangeun Lee and accompanied by Cellist Gerry Stevens and Harpist Isabel Frayling-Cork of English National Ballet Philharmonic.

Reflecting on the occasion, Artistic Director Aaron S. Watkin said:

“It was truly an honour to be invited to Buckingham Palace to perform for Her Majesty The Queen. The afternoon was a wonderful celebration of English National Ballet’s 75th anniversary, and the moving performance showed just how expressive and beautiful ballet can be.”
