Learn 7 British Sign Language signs in My First Ballet: Cinderella

Did you know My First Ballet: Cinderella has a BSL-interpreted performance?

Unlike many other ballet productions, this show includes a narrator to make it more accessible to a young audience. The narrator tells the story that is being danced on stage.

To support audiences who are d/Deaf, hard of hearing or who have hearing loss, a BSL interpreter uses sign language to communicate what is being spoken by the narrator.

Catch up with Jazzy Whipps and Deepa Shastri as they show us some of the signs you’ll see performed by the interpreter during My First Ballet: Cinderella!
