Let’s Dance! 2026

Dame Arlene Phillips

English National Ballet launches film resource for Dance for Parkinson’s groups across the country to get dancing and celebrate Let’s Dance!

English National Ballet (ENB) is delighted to have worked with Dame Arlene Phillips and Richard Roe, alongside our dancers from ENB’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme, to create the choreography and resources to accompany this year’s National Day of Dance on Sunday 8 March 2026.

Created especially for people living with Parkinson’s, the choreography is a celebration of movement, joy and the incredible power of dance in bringing us all together.

We have created a step-by-step film and resource pack, for all Dance for Parkinson’s groups across the UK to explore and to inspire Let’s Dance 2026 celebrations this March.

About Let’s Dance

Let’s Dance! is a nationwide movement bringing together dance organisations, charities, health professionals, local councils, community groups, business, celebrities and media getting together with one objective – to get the nation dancing.

Founded by Angela Rippon CBE in 2025, the campaign is supported by leading organisations including the /together coalition, the Sport and Recreation Alliance, NHS, and Parkinson’s UK. The mission of Let’s Dance is to get more people dancing together, regardless of age, fitness level, or experience. Whether through structured dance sessions, social movement, or creative expression, the campaign encourages people to experience the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of dance.

What we’ve created

The film is a step-by-step resource taking you through each section of choreography, with seated and standing adaptations available throughout.

Demonstrated by English National Ballet Associate Dance Artist Hannah Wilson with dancers from ENB’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme, you can learn the steps, adapt them for your own body and teach them to others to create your own unique version. The film concludes with a full performance of the choreography from 10 English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s dancers.

To support learning and participation, we’ve also developed a resource pack featuring:

  • A step-by-step guide of the movement set to the music
  • Suggested warm up exercises
  • Improvisation and creative guidance

We encourage all Dance for Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s UK groups to explore these resources for your Let’s Dance 2026 celebrations this March. Whether you perform the full routine or adapt sections to suit your participants, our shared hope is to get more communities to connect, move and dance together.
