Dance for Parkinson’s in Liverpool
Overview
Dance for Parkinson’s classes in Liverpool are delivered in partnership with Liverpool Hope University. They take place at the University’s Great Hall, based on their Creative Campus.
We welcome people living with Parkinson’s, along with their families, loved ones and carers to join us in the studio, no prior dance experience necessary. A range of seated and standing adaptations are presented to cater for all abilities.

Classes will be held at Liverpool Hope University, Creative Campus in-person at the Great Hall with refreshments in the Blue room. The Creative Campus is less than a mile away from Liverpool Lime Street and is situated at the junction of Islington and Shaw Street. The Great Hall is accessible via a short bus ride from the Queen Square Bus Station (including the 13, 17, 18, 21, 23 and 101) with a short walk at the end of the journey.
The address for your satnav if you are driving is Shaw Street, L6 1HP. Please note there is no on-site parking however there is a public car park across the road from Liverpool Hope University Creative Campus.
From 1:30pm – 3:30pm. This includes a practical dance class, followed by refreshments and social time.
Partners and carers are more than welcome to join the classes with you, should you require any 1-1 assistance or support. We ask all guests in the classes to join in practically.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in and bare feet or comfortable shoes such as trainers, soft ballet shoes or plimsolls.
We ask that you do not wear socks for classes and please remove all jewellery before dancing.
