Dance for Parkinson’s Online
Overview
Dance for Parkinson’s national offer takes place online, accessible weekly via zoom so you can experience the joy of dancing from your own home.
We welcome people living with Parkinson’s to join us virtually, no prior dance experience necessary. A range of seated and standing adaptations are presented to cater for all abilities.

We have a step-by-step guide for dancers to learn how to join the zoom meeting and check their web camera and sound are working. The Engagement team at English National Ballet are always available to help over the phone should you have any questions.
The classes are delivered live on Zoom each Friday morning. Dancers will need a laptop, iPad or tablet with a web camera and sound. Dancers will receive a Zoom meeting link and password to join the class at the beginning of term and emails with a reminder of these details each week.
Dancers should have a stable chair for seated exercises with enough space around them so they can stretch their legs and arms to the side without touching any furniture. We recommend you have a bottle of water next to you and should you be participating independently a telephone within reach in the event of an emergency.
Dancers will need a laptop, iPad or tablet with a web camera and sound.
The classes are delivered live on Zoom with dancers participating from their own homes across the UK.
