Dance for Parkinson’s in East London
Overview
Dance for Parkinson’s classes in East London take place at English National Ballet’s state of the art studios, based on London City Island in Canning Town.
We welcome people living with Parkinson’s, along with their families, loved ones and carers to join us in the studio, no prior dance experience necessary. A range of seated and standing adaptations are presented to cater for all abilities.

Car Parking
We highly recommend you travel to English National Ballet by public transport. However, the Engagement Team have access to three car parking spaces, which are available for reservation in advance of the Wednesday sessions.
If you require a car parking space, please email dancehealth@ballet.org.uk by 12pm on the Monday before you are due to attend at the latest with your name and car registration number. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in and bare feet or comfortable shoes such as trainers, soft ballet shoes or plimsolls.
We ask that you do not wear socks for classes and please remove all jewellery before dancing.
Registration – from 10:30am
Head to studio – at 10:45am
Class – 11am – 12.15pm
Social – 12.15pm – 12.45pm
Departure – by 1pm
If you would like to attend one of our Dance for Parkinson’s classes but are unable to book because the class is sold out, please reach out to our team at dancehealth@ballet.co.uk. They will be able to help you with any questions, tell you more about the classes and add you to our waiting lists so you can find out when the next classes are available.
Partners and carers are more than welcome to join the classes with you, should you require any 1-1 assistance or support. We ask all guests in the classes to join in practically.
