Our ambition is great ballet for everyone.
English National Ballet is a progressive, professional and collaborative organisation that places audiences at the heart of everything we do.
Our strategy and our mission has the repertoire at its core. We honour the tradition of great classical ballet whilst embracing change; evolving the art form for future generations and encouraging audiences to deepen their engagement.
If you want to join our team, scroll down for our latest job vacancies, opportunities and upcoming auditions.
If you would like to request an opportunity to join a Company class to be seen by our ballet staff, please submit the following:
- CV or résumé – including current position, professional experience and classical training
- Ballet photos – these must be full length, and we recommend submitting no more than three different photos
- Video link or DVD of dance footage (this is essential, and submissions will not be considered without it) – this can be either onstage or in a studio
Please send your materials to Lia Buddle, Artistic Assistant via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to English National Ballet, 41 Hopewell Square, London, E14 0SY.
All materials will be reviewed by the Artistic Team. We receive a large number of applications – please note that we cannot respond to everyone. You will only be contacted if you are invited to join class.
Invitations to join class will only be extended to those who have correctly submitted audition materials as above, or to those professional dancers who currently have a Principal position with another ballet company. Please also note that it is not possible to offer any meetings with Ballet Staff or the Artistic Director to dancers who join Company class.
There are currently no audition opportunities. Please check back periodically.
For experienced or semi-professional dancers looking to perfect their technique, we have a range of ballet classes available at Markova House. Each ballet class is led by highly-experienced, professional dance artists and accompanied by a pianist.
