Grenville Turner

Following a career in retail banking Grenville became Group Chief Executive of Countrywide Plc in January 2007. Taking the Group private in 2007 Grenville lead the transformation of the Group and it’s return to the Public Market in 2013 in a £1bn IPO. Grenville become Non-Executive Chairman of the Group before stepped down in 2016.

Having previously been on the Boards of a range of business including Rightmove Plc, St James Place Plc and Sainsbury’s Bank Plc, Grenville now holds a number of Board appointments in addition to his role with English National Ballet. These include Chairman of Watkin Jones Plc, Chair of Bellpenny Ltd and Titlestone Ltd, Non-Executive Director of The Department for Communities and Local Government and Zoopla Group Plc.

Grenville is a Chartered Banker and holds an MBA from Cranfield Business School from which he was awarded Distinguished Alumni of the Year in 2016.
