Christopher Saul is the former Senior Partner of Slaughter and May which is a leading international law firm. In that role he played a central role in the management of the firm, focused on the firm’s relationships with its clients and represented the firm in its involvement with a range of City and international bodies.

He retired from the firm in April 2016 at the end of his term and has established a consultancy to focus on the pre-emption and moderation of differences and disputes arising in corporate relationships (such as joint ventures), in the boardroom, in large family controlled enterprises and in professional services firms.

He is a member of the UK Takeover Panel, a Trustee of the Leverhulme Trust, a member of the Oxford Masters in Business Law and Finance Advisory Board and a member of the Advisory Board of the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law.

He studied law at Oxford University and joined Slaughter and May in 1977.
