Join us for an evening of dance, poetry, music and conversation as part of Museums At Night at Imperial War Museum North (IWMN)

As the light dims, the Imperial War Museum's Main Exhibition Space will come to life with a performance of Russell Maliphant's Second Breath, which recently premiered as part of the critically acclaimed Lest We Forget programme at the Barbican, London.

The evening includes poetry performances, dance demos, and vintage DJs. You can also experience Vertical Echoes, a new installation by sound artist Bill Fontana, harnessing the dramatic First World War sounds which will rise and fall within IWM North's 55m-high Air Shard. Delve deeper with pop-up interventions in From Street To Trench: A World War that Shaped a Region, the largest and most impressive exhibition to commemorate the contribution made by the region to the First World War.

You can also enjoy music and evening views across The Quays from the WaterShard Café & Kitchen, which will be serving site prepared food and locally sourced beers, wines and soft drinks.

Ticket price includes dance, poetry, music and conversation from 6.30pm. English National Ballet performances are at 7.45pm and 8.30pm.

Tickets are £10 and booking is essential.
