Following the success of Nutcracker Suities in 2011 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, which raised over £100,000 for English National Ballet, Chelsea Ballet School pupils will once again dance with the Company in a Gala on Friday 13 December 2013 at the London Coliseum.

Journey back in time with English National Ballet and pupils from Chelsea Ballet Schools to a frost-covered, gas-lit London and join Clara, her Nutcracker doll and the magician Drosselmeyer in this reimagined festive tale for all the family.

Aimed at showcasing the talent of Chelsea Ballet Schools’ young students and giving them the opportunity to share the stage with professional dancers, the event also serves as an important date in English National Ballet’s fundraising calendar.

Please note this is a fundraising event and not a full length performance of Nutcracker.

The funds raised will support our Company’s extensive national and international touring, the preservation of existing ballet heritage through the refurbishment and acquisition of repertoire, and encourage new audiences through their innovative learning and outreach programme; as well as supporting artistic creativity through the commissioning of new work which both challenges our dancers and creates a legacy for the future.

With thanks to our dedicated Committee:
