Training  Chetham's School of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Eastman School of Music, New York, Amsterdam Conservatory, Holland Affiliations BBC Philharmonic, RPO, RLPO RSNO and City of London Sinfonia, Northern Ballet Theatre, Hallé Orchestra. He has appeared in many TV and radio broadcasts and recently recorded the piano music for the soundtrack to the new film version of Brideshead Revisited which is on general release this summer.
