Schools' Matinee Programme |
|
English National Ballet schedules dedicated schools’ matinee performances in selected venues where the Company performs. These are full-scale performances, often attended by young people who are experiencing a full theatrical production for the very first time. The buzz from the audience is simply electric! Tickets are £10 or less per pupil, and one teacher attends free with every ten tickets booked. A synopsis of the production can be found in the programme (also available from the Department of Learning). A free cast sheet is available from the ushers and names all the characters and the dancers who will be performing these roles.
If you are taking your school to see an English National Ballet performance why not consider booking a theatre/workshop package to complete the ballet experience. Creative ballet workshops linked to the production take place at your school and enhance young people’s enjoyment of the performance.
