Groups Special Events
No Christmas is complete without a trip to the theatre and this year English National Ballet offers group bookers booking any of our three ballets at the London Coliseum an even wider range of events to make their visit to the ballet even more memorable.
Working Stage Rehearsals
Working stage rehearsals give groups the chance to watch a full working technical rehearsal on stage, with orchestra or piano, prior to the production’s opening night. As these rehearsals are for the benefit of the Company and technical staff, there is no guarantee that they will be in full costume or make-up. Dates tbc.
Company Classes
Come and watch the dancers in the daily ballet class which enables them to slowly warm up their limbs before rehearsal and performance, helping to lessen the chance of injury. Taken by a member of the ballet staff or a guest teacher, the class gives the audience the opportunity to see members of the Company on stage working through the series of exercises at the barre and in the centre that lead to the dazzling displays of virtuosity seen in performance. Backstage Tour
This is an exciting opportunity to gain insight into what happens backstage. Please note that, as the backstage is a working area, each tour is unique and subject to availability. Dates tbc.
Pre- Performance Talks
Delivered by our Department of Learning, these talks give members of the audience a unique opportunity to learn more about the productions and the history of English National Ballet. They are followed by a Q&A session at the end. Free for ticket holders
