Dance for Parkinson’s Professional Development Opportunity
As part of our expanding national programme, we developed a two day professional development course for dance artists, musicians, health professionals and other practitioners interested in sharing an open dialogue about artistic approaches to dance and music for people with Parkinson’s.
This inspiring professional development programme covers the English National Ballet approach for best practice based on our national Dance for Parkinson’s model, as well as tools and strategies for the creative use of contemporary and classical repertoire, enabling you to build class content and set up your own sessions.
Led by professional dance and music artists from English National Ballet’s national Dance for Parkinson’s programme, and with guest presentations from Parkinson’s UK and University of Roehampton, the course aims to develop participants’ practice to lead and develop their own dance, music and cultural activities for people with Parkinson’s.
“An excellent course led by a great team of artists and Parkinson's specialists.”
“Thanks for a professionally run, thought-provoking and educational weekend”
