As part of our national Dance for Parkinson’s programme, we offer two days professional development for dance artists, musicians, health professionals and other practitioners interested in sharing an open dialogue about artistic approaches to dance and music for people with Parkinson’s.
The programme covers the English National Ballet approach for best practice based on our national Dance for Parkinson’s programme, as well as tools and strategies for building class content and points for consideration when setting up your own class.
Led by professional dance and music artists from English National Ballet’s national Dance for Parkinson’s programme, and with guest presentations from Parkinson’s UK and University of Roehampton, the course aims to develop participants’ practice to lead and develop their own dance, music and cultural activities for people with Parkinson’s.
“An excellent course led by a great team of artists and Parkinson's specialists.”
“Thanks for a professionally run, thought-provoking and educational weekend”
