Dance for Parkinson's Liverpool
Weekly classes, Thursdays 2pm – 4pm

Autumn Term, Thursday 15 October – Thursday 10 December 2015
at Merseyside Dance Initiative, 24 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BX

Classes are £3.50 per person, per session, including carers, family members or guests. Drop-ins are very welcome.

After a fantastic start to our programme with MDI (Merseyside Dance Initiative), at the beginning of 2014, we continue with our successful classes in the centre of Liverpool, and with high-demand taster classes across the region.

The Liverpool group have explored a diverse range of repertoire including the beautiful tale of Swan Lake ; music, dance and song from the First World War era inspired by the critically-acclaimed Lest We Forget ; and the works of 20th century innovators Jiří Kylián, John Neumeier and William Forsythe featured in our Modern Masters programme. Participants had the additional opportunity to hear about the staging and performance of the Modern Masters programme with a special behind-the-scenes event at MDI as part of their Leap Dance Festival.

The tragic tale of Rudolf Nureyev's acclaimed Romeo & Juliet will provide the creative inspiration for this term's classes.

Contact Merseyside Dance Initiative to enquire about the programme or for a booking form: or call 0151 708 8810.
