Ensemble is the Company’s youth dance programme for 11 to 18 year olds. Weekly creative dance classes take place during the school term time at Markova House. The focus is on developing participants’ creativity through choreographic exploration, often taking inspiration from the Company’s repertoire. Members of Ensemble benefit from discount ticket offers to see English National Ballet perform.

Westminster City Council funds this programme of activity, the Council provides substantial support for the arts each year. Local arts organisations of international repute, as well as community arts groups, are funded to deliver community and education arts programmes for Westminster residents, especially those living in areas of deprivation. All of the funded programmes of activity give opportunities for direct participation by local people. English National Ballet’s funding from the council supports the work of the Department of Learning.
