2005 saw the launch of English National Ballet's first production syndicate, a group of individuals whose generous support made our new production of Giselle possible. Following the success of this initiative, we will be forming further syndicates to support productions in future years.
This year we have formed a syndicate which will support Michael Corder’s new ballet The Snow Queen; a theatrical presentation drawing its inspiration from the fairy tale world of Hans Christian Andersen’s famous wintry story with dazzling designs by Mark Bailey which reveal the majesty and magic of this mythological fairy tale. English National Ballet’s full orchestra will play Julian Philips’s arrangement of Prokofiev’s glorious music.
Members of our syndicates will be invited to be part of the artistic process from the very beginning, gaining an insight into the works by attending rehearsals and talks and getting to know the dancers, artists and production team.
