Festival Ballet

English National Ballet returns to the Royal Festival Hall with a triple bill that celebrates its past and its future

Performances feature the firecracker Etudes and the sublimely lyrical A Million Kisses to my Skin and there is a special Exploring Etudes performance for students at 2pm on 3 July. English National Ballet School performs on Sunday 6 July.

David Dawson’s A Million Kisses to my Skin is a passionate rollercoaster of lyrical elegance and sublime beauty, set to Bach’s Concerto No. 1 in D minor. Resolution, a new piece from Artistic Director Wayne Eagling to Mahler’s Rückert-Lieder, captures the serenity of Rückert’s poetry in motion.

Lander’s Etudes is a glamorous celebration of the dancers' daily ballet class, moving from simple stretching at the barre to the steps showcasing virtuosity and bravura which make performances so exciting.

A triple bill is a fantastic opportunity to see not only a wonderfully broad spectrum of choreographic work but also most of English National Ballet's principal dancers at all performances, see casting for more details.

Generously supported by the Triple Bill Syndicate.
