Guests visiting our hotel partner, The Dorchester, during the 2009 October half term probably felt as though they had fallen down a rabbit hole as the hotel’s Promenade was transformed into a scene from the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, The Dorchester offered special afternoon teas whilst dancers from English National Ballet School, dressed as some of the best known characters, danced among specially created decorations and floral displays. Following the success of the tea party, we are continuing to work closely with The Dorchester on special events and packages so do check our website for details including this year’s Mad Hatter’s Tea Party which will run from 25 - 29 October 2010.
