Where are the classes held?

All classes are held at Markova House, home of English National Ballet.

How much are the classes?

£100 for a full ten week term or £75 concession rate (students, over 60s or those in receipt of benefits)

How many people will be in the class?

The number of participants is limited to 28 per class in order to make the classes safe and enjoyable for all.

What is the age range of participants?

Classes are for anyone aged over 18. There is no upper age limit.

What should I wear?

Participants generally wear leotard/t-shirt with leggings/tights with soft canvas/leather ballet shoes or bare feet. You must ensure you can move freely. We ask participants to remove all jewellery, long hair is tied back and trainers or socks are not worn.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open from 6.30pm. Changing rooms are available from 6.45pm.

Can I do pointe work?

No, pointe shoes or soft blocks may not be worn to any classes.

Am I guaranteed a place for next term if I apply this term?

No. To make the system fair you need to apply each term in order to secure your place as these classes are in high demand. Please ensure your name is on the Adult Ballet email mailing list to receive updates and notification of when bookings are open.

Can I see English National Ballet perform?

Adult Ballet participants have the opportunity to buy tickets for English National Ballet performances at specially reduced rates and the chance to take part in special events.

Refunds and Exchanges

All fees and places are non refundable or exchangeable unless classes are cancelled by English National Ballet.
