Cinderella
English National Ballet’s Cinderella tells everyone’s favourite rags-to-riches story.
Cinderella is tormented by her spiteful stepsisters and longs to attend the Prince’s glamorous ball. Her Fairy Godmother intervenes and transforms her into a glittering Princess who shall go to the ball. Prokofiev’s uplifting score played by English National Ballet’s symphony orchestra together with David Walker’s sumptuous costumes and sets conjure up the fairy tale world of Cinderella perfectly.
“Cinderella is one of the first ballets I learnt directly from the choreographer, so even though the part of Cinderella is really hard it is very special to me – I feel I can deliver the character exactly as it was meant to be realised” Erina Takahashi - Senior Principal Dancer
