Wednesday 4 July

The worries about rain on Sunday for Concert for Diana were needless - it was a beautiful day, and what a spectacular one! We all held our breath as Natasha Kaplinsky introduced the dancers as we were nervous about the reception we might receive at such an event.

The crowd went wild. The audience gave so many impromtu rounds of applause particularly when Rothbart was defeated and Tom and Agnes kissed uniting their characters in eternal love. Our orchestra was on top form and they also played for the Lloyd Webber section with a sneaky change of costume from black to white.

The dancers also gave a second performance - with Take That! All the performers were completely exhausted but managed to make it to the after show party!
