Another week closer to the Royal Albert Hall performances and we have had to add an extra show due to excellent ticket sales - the dancers are going to be really tired, especially the swans because they have to do a lot of running and the stage is so big!
This week our President and former artistic director, Dame Beryl Grey was interviewed on Woman's Hour on Radio 4. If you missed it you can still listen online. Amongst other things, Dame Beryl talked about performing the role of Odette in Swan Lake at the age of just 14!
Ex-dancer and floor-barre leader Alice Bott (nee Crawford) welcomed a baby boy into her family this week, I'm sure you will join us all in wishing her and husband Greg the best of congratulations. Alice is famed for creating the title role in Derek Deane's Alice in Wonderland.
