The Company are on holiday this week after a gruelly tour to Beijing; some have come back to the UK while others have used the opportunity to do some of their own travelling or to visit home in one of the 21 countries our dancers hail from.
Next week the hard work starts; six pieces of repertoire must be rehearsed before the first Spring tour venue at the beginning of March. Everyone is particularly excited about Etudes returning to performance after a gap of six years, this fabulous ballet showcases the talent of dancers right through the Company. The ballet is based on daily ballet class and is wonderfully recognisable to the thousands of little girls and boys who once dreamed they would look this good at the barre!
