Full house is definitely the way to describe Southampton's performances of The Snow Queen, the different casts have been enjoying great support in this big venue, a great boost on what has been a long Autumn tour.
This week English National Ballet announced its Spring tour, we're definitley very excited here, especially about Etudes which was practically the signature piece of the Company in its London Festival Ballet days.
Our Development department are already busy organising our fundraising gala, the venue has just been confirmed as The Dorchester Hotel, on 3 March. Thanks to the Dorchester for their generosity - the evening will be provided free of charge in aid of the charity.This event includes a huge amount of organisation; choosing a theme and the performance pieces, running time/order of the evening, sourcing auction prizes and that's all before they have to sell 300 tickets! Let's hope it's a huge success!
