We have heard that seven new dancers will be joining us next season, three of which are from English National Ballet School. They are rumoured to be coming in August so remember that our About us section will start changing!
Thomas Edur and Agnes Oaks are taking time out of their busy schedules today to be filmed by the BBC for a new documentary - Diana, a Legacy to be aired this August.
The schools' matinee performance brought with it lots of children and a very interesting fact. After a prosthetics demonstration from wig mistress Amelia Carrington we found out that Tamas Solymosi has been playing Rothbart so much that he has developed an allergic reaction to the glue that sticks his evil face on - Amelia has had to come up with inventive make-up techniques to make his face look twisted and evil! (Take a look at Education Officer Rachel Newby's transformation into a Gargoyle!)
To finish I must mention that Meryl Streep was spotted watching Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall last night - we had some very starstruck members of staff!
