This week at Markova house, we have been joined by an extra 60 dancers in time to rehearse for Swan Lake in the round, which sees some 120 performers take the stage for this amazing theatrical spectacle.

The studios have been very squashed and wardrobe have been working furiously to make sure this great amount of dancers get fitted into their costumes! Next week, the dancers move to 3 Mills Studios to get some much needed space for rehearsals so look out for a flurry of dancers migrating to the east end!

The creators of Angelina Ballerina were in this week to discuss the premiere tour of Angelina's first real live ballet, Angelina's Star Performance. Katherine Holabird (writer) and Helen Craig (illustrator) also took part in our Angelina Ballerina press launch where they read and drew for avid ballet fans including Anais Gallagher and Lila Grace Moss. Helen even told us that Angelina's emotions are show by the position of her tail!
