Soloist Daniel Jones spent his Summer holiday very productively; entering the Sadler's Wells Global Dance Competition with the help of Dancers' Career Development.
A few years ago Daniel received a grant from the Dancers' Career Development fund so he could develop his film-making skills for when he leaves his dance career. Amongst many other filming projects, this Summer he has produced a film for the Sadler's Wells Global Dance contest which sees people from all dance backgrounds entering a film audition to potentially perform at Sadler's Wells Sampled next year. For his entry Daniel's Dance Group, 'JAMM and the DC', present their first video Shall We Jamm. JAMM stands for the dance groups surnames, and JAMMING is the term they use for their style of dance performing. JAMMING - Any style of dance, Anywhere, Anytime. DC stands for the The Dancing Cameraman, aka Daniel Jones who is both a dance performer and filmmaker. Jamm and the DC consist of four performance artists from around the world.
