Tube, WHAT tube? The last thing you need on the first week of a tour is tube strikeresulting in a 2 - 3 hour journey every day to get into work, everyonesuffers. Long days just get longer! Thankfully, the get-in and fit-upof the show goes smoothly, we have great support from Dave and Andy(ENB crew) and Al Riches is on hand to show us all how the show goestogether. The opening night is preceded by a workshop on stage, organized byour education department for invited guests and their children. It alllooks great fun. The first show goes very well and all cast and creware happy. We are getting really nice comments all week at Wimbledon. The shows get better and the fantastic audience reaction takes us allby surprise. Looking good I think! It’s one thing getting a show into a venue, but, loading it out intoa trailer for the first time is another thing. I’m amazed that it isrelatively stress free, and at two and a half hours, not bad going fora first pack. A day off before picking up the mini bus that will take us aroundthe country is very welcome. More to come as we go out on our own, it’sall ours now! How long till we open?!! |
