| Angelina Ballerina's Big Audition Story |

Angelina has been offered an audition at the prestigious Camembert Academy, the best performing arts school in Chipping Cheddar! Act I Angelina rushes to show her audition letter to all her friends at Miss Lilly’s ballet class. All the mouselings are so happy for Angelina, except Alice who is sad and Henry who sulks. Angelina tries to make Alice feel better by dancing with her but Alice is still worried that she might lose her best friend. Miss Lilly announces that Angelina must start practising for her audition at once! Angelina starts warming up – she’s such a good dancer everyone expects her to get through the audition… but Henry has a plan. He sneaks and hides behind the piano as the other mice leave. Angelina shows her audition dance to Miss Lilly, but every time she starts dancing the music stops! Angelina can’t understand what’s happening, until Miss Lilly finds a naughty mouse stopping the music – Henry! She tells him off and he promises to be good, but he can’t help distracting Angelina and is soon mucking about, causing mischief. Angelina gets very cross with Henry and Miss Lilly sends him to the corner. Angelina can finally concentrate on her dancing and she begins to dream… She dreams that she is a great ballerina, and dances with a handsome partner until suddenly… she falls flat on her backside! Angelina begs Miss Lilly to help her and Miss Lilly tells her not to worry, she must believe in herself, even Henry tells her that he can’t think of a more talented mouse to go to the Academy! Alice rushes in and tells Angelina that no matter what, they’ll still be best friends. She gives Angelina a four-leaf clover for luck and, with the other mice, waves Angelina goodbye. Act II Angelina arrives at the Camembert Academy, it’s very big and very scary! Inside it’s even more scary – no one else is practising ballet! A disco-dancing mouse introduces herself as Vici, another looks strangely like the handsome mouse in her dream, but starts playing the bongos and is called Marco. Angelina is very nervous; as she clutches her four-leaf clover from Alice, the dance teacher Ms Mimi comes over and reminds her to have faith in herself. She sounds a lot like Miss Lilly. All the mouselings go into the audition room, and perform in a spotlight one at a time. First it’s Marco, who plays the drums and does flamenco! Then it's Charlotte, who finds her dancing challenging. Next it’s Gracie, a tap dancer and magician! Angelina’s turn. She performs the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Naomi performs a traditional Irish jig. Vici is next, with some very different dancing! Finally AJ leaps up and wows with his hip-hop moves. Ms Mimi announces who has got in… one by one they hear their fate. Do you think Angelina gets a place? Of course she does – she dances beautifully! After a celebration with her new friends Angelina can’t wait to start at the Academy, but remembers her friends back at home. Just then, Alice appears clutching… a letter from Camembert Academy!
