Our favourite letter this month;

On Wednesday the upper juniors and the lower juniors went to The Snow Queen ballet. I enjoyed it. It was exquisite and splendid.

The costumes were beautiful and I loved them. The Snow Queen had a beautiful crystal crown. The way she stretched was marvellous. The way she stretched her arms and legs was very graceful. My eyes were stuck to her dress. She had crystals on her dress and crown.

Her palace was shiny and sparkly and silver and it looked very cold. Gerda and Kay were in love and their dance was soft and fragile. The music was played by real live instruments. I loved the music. Sometimes it was loud and sometimes it was peaceful.

In my heart I felt like I was in the story of The Snow Queen.

The end.

Here are some beautifully illustrated letters from a school in Liverpool who took part in a workshop of The Snow Queen before seeing the show itself.

Joshua let us know that he'd love to learn more about ballet after taking part in the workshop, and Courtney loved that the workshop included music as well as dance.
