Happy Birthday English National Ballet

English National Ballet hosted a star-studded Birthday Celebration at a performance of Cinderella on the Company's official birthday, Saturday 14 August. Above is a picture of the Company at 60 after the commemorative performance.

English National Ballet’s first official performance was on 14 August 1950 in Southsea. 60 years on English National Ballet is recognised as Britain’s largest touring ballet Company with 67 dancers and a live orchestra. Profits from the evening will help English National Ballet continue to produce and perform classical ballet of the highest quality to audiences across the UK and overseas.
